WHY TRY PILATES?

If you are a lifter, runner, athlete, etc. pilates is an absolute game changer! Adding just one pilates workout to your fitness routine can help you increase body awareness so you move better and more efficiently, increase mobility to prevent injury, build muscle and body weight strength and can be a great active recovery after heavy workouts. 

My approach to instructing pilates is creating an accessible space where you feel challenged but also heard - so no matter what your experience you finish your workout feeling strong, refreshed and hopefully a little bit happier!

My own pilates journey started as many others have - a nagging injury and a way to stay strong while moving intentionally with low impact. My first class I was hooked. It was amazing to me how good I felt using my own body weight to challenge myself (FYI that class was hard) Once I tried reformer pilates it was like a whole new world was opened up to me.
